Family narrowly escapes wagon runaway in Bedford County
On a Wednesday morning near Tanuel Hill the Wantel Medtee family of West Bedford suffered a wagon belt break sending their spring wagon and horses skidding along a steep incline. The mother and one child were injured. other children escaped serious harm. A later Thursday trip by Mr and Mrs McKee to Coshestun with children at home went without incident.
