Obituary and Local Notes From Plainfield Township
Isaac McClain died last Wednesday night and was buried at Clay Point cemetery on his father’s old farm in Lafayette township. His son John traveled from Caldwell Co Mo, while another son Lewis was delayed by snow. The town records snowfalls, local farm sales, and a mix of reflections on community life, religion, and schooling.
