The Selby Dry Goods Company opened their new and elegant store in the Selby Building last Saturday. The spacious 120 foot deep room fronts Fifth Street with a carpet and curtain section, creating one of Central Ohio’s largest retail spaces. An opening with tasteful decor, music, and violet souvenirs drew a large crowd.

Mrs. Jane Moore wife of Chan Moore and sister of J C Adams of this place died last Friday near West Bedford from heart and lung trouble after a move from Coshocton. Funeral service was at West Bedford M E church conducted by Rev Gay then burial in North cemetery. She was 33 with a husband and son Clyde and many friends mourn her.

Millersburg readers hear of Deputy Sheriff Josiah Bard in Warsaw as he pursued bond posting for a $7000 judgment against a railroad in Coshocton county. Conductor Everhart and Engineer Thornly fled Kilbuck after Bard’s demand, delaying trains two days while railroad crews sought bonds. A passenger protested stop at Kilbuck, but bonds were posted finally on Saturday night. Easter millinery displays and local shop ads follow.
