Harrison County Democrats plan a large barbecue at Glenwood Park near New Albany on Saturday October 9. The Third Congressional District Democrats organize the all day event with 20 beef prepared for dinner. Expected attendance exceeds 10 000 with national speakers invited and all are welcome.
The Democrat reports the marriage of Miss Naomi L. Burger of Noblesville Indiana to Rev Edwin G Jann. The ceremony occurred Sept 22 in Noblesville. The couple plan to reside in Waukena California after Oct 11 with friends invited to visit.
A local firm plans daily service from New Middletown to New Albany via Corydon with departures at 7:00 AM from New Middletown, 7:45 AM at Corydon, and 8:30 AM at Lanesville. Return trips start from New Albany at 2:30 AM. Rese and Bauer, New Middletown, Ind.

Louis Byram long time Boone County resident died September 19 1915 at his daughter Sarah Stults home in Boone township aged 84 years 5 months 20 days. Survived by three children Wim A Byrum deceased sister Mary Ann Robson thirteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral at Presbyterian Church Laconia conducted by Rev Hinkle with burial in King Cemetery.
