Harrison County Agricultural Society Fair Draws Record Entries
The forty-second Harrison County fair drew large crowds with Wednesday about 2,000 Thursday 9,000 and Friday 6,000 attendees. A record 3,275 entries were logged across all premiums with every premium having at least one entry. The fruit display rivaled world fairs and local stock ran strong though sheep were noted as a possible exception. Races underperformed but Cook's Hippodrome and Equine Paradox provided strong entertainment, and the Corydon band earned praise for its performance.
