Charles Sampson of Rosewood died when a rock pit rock collapsed in the Kosmosdale cement mill. He was 28 and survived by his father, a step-mother and a half brother. Clyde Wolfe died Sunday afternoon October 2 at the home of his grandparents Mr and Mrs Frank Wolfe near Palmyra after a long illness of phthisis and asthma. On September 27 about sixty people gathered at the Parsonage of Pfrimmer's Chapel for a singing prayer social in honor of Rev. and Mrs. M C Patterson. They donated to the pastor and wife, enjoyed refreshments, and closed with benediction before returning home. The Applegate Graveyard cleanup on September 24 drew help from Harrison Pitman and wife, PF I Amy and wife, John Bliss, Edward and Marshal Applegate, Prantz Hoddleson, with Jesse Pitman aiding, revealing needed grave repairs and fence work.
