The International Policy Holders Committee of New York issues blank ballots for the directors election, closing December 18, 1906. It alleges corruption in the current administration and urges policy holder supporters to vote for the policy holders ticket. Voters are invited to pick up ballots, vote, and mail them to the committee.
Vincent Moore and his eleven year old son Raymond perished in a house fire five miles from Paoli. They slept upstairs as the blaze trapped them. the home collapsed into embers. Several relatives escaped by leaping from windows.

At the Court House on the 13th, voters chose J C F Sieg over George W Kopp for president. Multiple offices show winners by varying majorities with Finch? No. The Boone township director tie settled by Russell and Funk. Proxies except widows were rejected.
Resolutions from Boone township teachers express sympathy for the death of Mrs Maggie Cooper after a brief illness. They note her as a loving mother wife and neighbor and extend condolences to her husband Mr Cooper and family. A copy of the resolutions will be sent to the family and to county papers. Farmers report damaged corn in shocks and dump surplus potatoes fearing poor returns. Charlie Conningham finishes selling 600 bushels of pears and returns to city work as motorman.

The forage grass timothy, Phleum pratense, was introduced and widely cultivated in the United States by Timothy Hanson of Maryland. Known in England and Europe as cat's tail grass, it spread across farms from the Mediterranean to the North Sea. Timothy was grown in Maryland and Pennsylvania before any seed reached England.
