Cyclone in Kansas Causes Losses and Casualties

A remarkable November storm in Kansas on Wednesday November 10 killed and injured many and damaged thousands of dollars in property. The cyclone cut a sixteen mile swath and wrecked structures with summerlike fury.

Agricultural and Domestic Exhibit at Mauckport Institute

The Agricultural and Domestic Science and Art exhibit will be held at Mauckport port on December 6 as part of the Farmers Institute. Purdue’s Roberta McNeil and H M Widney of St Joe will speak twice during the day. Premiums include cash prizes for corn, potatoes, wheat, apples, tobacco, and domestic items. Exhibits must be grown by exhibitors and entries may be doubled. Eligible members include Farmers Institute and Mauckport Home Economics Study Class participants. Purdue rules apply.
