Mrs Bowling Dies at Jeffersonville After Hip Injury
Mrs. Millie E. Bowling widow of Louis W. Bowling died suddenly at her daughter Fannie Dav is 823 Meigs Avenue Jeffersonville at ten o clock Friday morning. She had months of hip injuries from a fall and used a wheelchair. A nurse assisted her to the window when she passed away before reaching it. Funeral services were at the daughter's home in Jeffersonville then burial in Cedar Hall Cemetery Corydon. She was 75 and survived by four sons and three daughters. Her maiden name was Cooper. She lived in Corydon for years after moving from Elizabeth when Mr. Bowling was elected County Treasurer.
