Important School Functions Close Term In County Town
The county's Class Day events and commencements drew large crowds as Mauckport High and Harrison Township held ceremonies. At Mauckport Mt Zion church May 14 graduates included six students with diplomas presented by County Superintendent A Deweese. music by Georgetown orchestra accompanied by local faculty. Corydon High School closed with a May 18 Class Day featuring speeches, a Lincoln bust gift, and a strong address by Dr. J. McKainy on work, virtue, and true success. principal O F Koch urged continued effort and civic responsibility.
