Survived by father Moses Stith, three sisters and four brothers. wife, mother and sister Mary Atte deceased earlier. Employed as a motorman for eighteen years. Two blazes hit Corydon within hours with the Water Works plant at Blue Spring engulfed until a large stream created by firefighters cooled the roof and left walls and pumping gear damaged. A separate fire in the shipping room of a wagon factory burned a bale of waste paper. officials suspect accidental cause and urged water conservation until pumping could resume.
