Chicken Thieves Caught in Corydon Vigilant Neighbors Nab Suspects
A wagon with nine men arrived in Corydon at seven o clock Friday morning to arrest six who had captured three alleged chicken thieves. Neighbors along Blue River laid a trap on a foot bridge where Emmett Lynch Ernest Lynch and John Lenz were seized after the trio tried to reclaim twelve chickens. George Murr later identified the birds. the accused pleaded not guilty in court Saturday morning.

Mrs Eunice Jane Hedges died at her home in New Middletown on May 4 1911 at age 79 years 6 months and 15 days. She came from Pennsylvania as a child with her parents Thomas and Lucinda Rhodes and brothers. She leaves a son Julius Edward Hedges and was buried beside her husband Thomas Hedges after funeral at the M E church conducted by Rev Geo W Speedy. She joined the Methodist church young and spoke of faith in the Savior. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.

Death of John Hank in Morgan township at age 43
John Hank died Monday morning at nine o'clock in Morgan township after a long pulmonary illness. Funeral services will be held at the German Lutheran Church in Morgan township tomorrow at two o'clock, with Rev. Maag officiating. Interment is in the church cemetery. He is survived by his widow and four sons Ivan Omer Carl and Russel. He also leaves one brother George Haub and five sisters Mrs Sherman Lofton of Lincon Nebraska Mrs Jacob Martin and Mrs Lizzie Mosier of Louisville Mrs Christian Heuser of St Joseph Illinois and Mrs John Denhart of the county.

New Depot Planned for Corydon by L N & Corydon Ry
The Louisville New Albany and Corydon Railway will erect a modern tile roofed Spanish style depot at Corydon on the former site with added space north of the old building. The concrete structure measures 27 by 54 feet. Principal stockholders McKinley Boyle of New York and A B McKinley and C C Blakey of Louisville were in Corydon taking measurements and arranging for work likely to start within ten days.
