Federal Agency Approves Water Sewer and Golf Loans
The Farmers Home Administration approved an 11816 grant for water and sewer study and an 85000 RC D loan to the Corydon Country Club to enlarge its golf course and repay debts. The club serves Harrison County and parts of Crawford and Floyd Counties. The RC D loan will help buy 67 acres, remove 50 acres from farming, and support recreation. The plan aims to spur rural development, jobs, tourism and youth retention.
