Bride of one month dies in Princeton fire accident
Mrs Eva Wolfe wife of George Wolfe died from severe burns suffered when gasoline ignited while she kindled a kitchen fire at Princeton. She was 23 and later buried at Sharon church New Middletown after funeral by Rev W H Howerton. Survived by husband father Oliver Peytes five brothers two sisters. Funeral attended by many local associates from the Brotherhood Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen and the Ladies Society of their union.

Mrs. Clara Singer, seventy five, widow of Robert Singer, died Saturday night March 9 at her daughter Mrs. Patrick Flanigan’s home after a week of illness. Survived by one daughter and four grandchildren. Funeral Sunday afternoon March 1 at her residence conducted by Rev. Edwards, burial in Elizabeth cemetery. A longtime hotel keeper, she was well known to travelers.

Medora i Miles Randerson of Harrison County Indiana was born March 30 1852 and died March 2 1918 at age 65 years 11 months 2 days. She married Alfred J Buss in 1570 had one son, then J A Hughes on November 4 1875 with two daughters, and finally Robert B Randerson on March 1 1906 with twelve years of marriage. She left three stepdaughters and two stepsons including Mrs Lydia Tucker. A Methodist, funeral services were given by Rev Pearson of Orwell at the Alford Methodist church at ten oclock with burial at the local cemetery.

Long-lived Eliza Keller Bottles Dies at 85 in Indiana
Eliza Keller was born January 22 1883 and died March 6 1918 aged 85 1 2. She married Alison Windell April 4 1851 and later Jacob Bottles January 1 1854 producing eight children four daughters and four sons including Andrew J. Bottles Thomas J. Bottles Charles E. Bottles Emma Mauck Ira Bottles and Wm A Windell. She lived with son Thomas J Bottles for twenty years and joined the Christian Church early in life. The funeral was held at New Amsterdam with Rev Franel officiating and pallbearers Bennie Taylor Amzie Crecelius Herman Fleshman Jimmie Woodward Carl Juck and Dave Crecelius. The record then notes the death of Chas L Timperman of Louisville Ky born November 11 1872 aged 45 3 24 who married Mamie Nitzken and had seven children Irvin Alvina Cheater Evelyn Worthington Thelma and Kenneth. He worked for Louisville street railway and later ran a saloon. he died after a four day illness. The obituary lists a large family and friends.

Mrs Ben Wheat hosted a quilting party at her home east of Corydon on Friday March 8. Invited guests included Mrs Ed Bruch and son, Mrs Wm Hauswald, Mrs John Gleitz, Mrs Otto Gleitz and daughter, Mrs Jap W Turley and daughter, Mrs John Wheat and daughter, Mrs Louis Gleitz, Mrs Guy Hess, Mrs Henry Denbo and Mrs Mary Gleitz.
