William Davis Dillon a Lawrence Kansas painter who fell from the Matthew Welsh Bridge December 5 was recovered from the Ohio River Sunday March 5. Meade County Sheriff Joe Jones said Indiana authorities retrieved the body about 15 miles below the bridge after it was spotted by a tow boat and reported to the Coast Guard. The body rests at Newkirk Funeral Home Milltown Indiana.
