Weather Outlook Shows Mild Week Then Weekend Cooldown

Indiana five day forecast from Radio Station WPDF expects temperatures tomorrow to Monday to run 4-6 degrees above normal highs of 43 to 52 and lows of 25 to 32. Mild weather continues through the week with a slight weekend downturn. Rain totals projected at one half to two thirds of an inch late in the week.

Robert Stepro sold his interest in the Hurst Stepro Lumber Company to partner Parker Hurst. The Stepros will focus full time on Stepro Clothing Store. Their son David moved to Louisville to work for General Electric. The family plans to relocate soon.

Canvass Continues For Corydon Heart Fund Drive

The Heart Fund Sunday Drive in Corydon raised about 280 dollars. Chair man Jack L Windell notes many envelopes were left as residents were away. CCHS Seniors aided canvassing in residential areas while the downtown district is being canvassed this week to support National Heart Fund research. Diana D Grant assists in soliciting downtown with Herman Funk Jr and Jack Windell guiding. Mrs Claude A Davis covers the Harrison County Court House.
