Spring property tax distributions total 740 943 up from 724 034 a year ago an increase of 16 809. Special School funds rise to 193 326 from 166 643 while tuition funds fall to 180 714. South American crash claims Purdue veterinarian James Gettelfinger
James P. Gettelfinger 25, a veterinary teacher and Purdue Ford Foundation project researcher, died in a Belo Horizonte car crash along with two others. He graduated from Purdue in 1966 after Ramsey High School and served as part of the Purdue Boys for Latin America. He is survived by eight brothers and three sisters and his parents. His body was returned to Ramsey for funeral arrangements.
