Eliza Jane Beanblossom Hoffmans death in Harrison county marks the loss of one of its oldest settlers. Born June 26 1830 near Mauckport she married Philip C. Hoffman in 1851. four children survived including Rachel and Minerva. She died May 27 1901 from heart trouble after years without illness.
