Colored High School Commencement Honors Corydon Graduates
The Colored High School in Corydon held its commencement Friday night May 27 in the public school auditorium. Three graduates spoke as Rev. J. G. Moore gave the class address urging interracial understanding for progress. Diplomas were presented by Prof. E. L. Fisher. music director Mrs. Minnie Donahue received applause for the program.

The Harrison County Board of Review appointed by Judge Ridley met to review personal property assessments. Members are County Auditor Chas. W. Smith, County Treasurer William Taylor, County Assessor Emmett Beaublossom, and appointees Rev. N. M. Rumbley and William T. Graves. Mary McFarland Dies After Illness at Webster Township
Miss Mary McFarland died at her brother Robert McFarland’s home in Webster township after a two week illness of complications. She was about eighty five and is survived by her brother and sister Mrs Margaret Ferree of Taylor township. Funeral services were held at Rehoboth conducted by Rev M C Patterson of New Middletown. Burial followed in the nearby cemetery.
