Family Reunion Honors Lamont Creson of Terre Haute
A July 1 family reunion and dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith in Central honored Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Creson of Terre Haute Indiana. Creson, longtime Terre Haute newspaper editor, spoke with a Democrat correspondent about grape and tobacco culture and regional development. Forty-two relatives attended with elaborate table decorations, ice cream from a Corydon caterer, and a group photograph.

Death of Edward Gehlbach in Colorado Interred Here
Edward Gehlbach, who sought health in California, died in Colorado from pulmonary affection while aged twenty six. His remains were shipped home and interred at Pfrimmer's Chapel yesterday. He was the son of Louis Gehlbach and husband of Lulu Deutsch Gehlbach.

Capture of William Spores in Morrillton Ark
News from Scottsburg reports William Spores, accused in the death of Douglas Fawbush on June 5, has been captured at Morrillton Arkansas. An officer with extradition papers from Gov. Hanley pursued the case and may pay a $500 reward offered by Scott and Washington counties. The evidence rests largely on a note bearing Spores’ name found near Fawbush’s body. Fawbush rode with two mules. his body was later found in a woods and the team disappeared. The mules were left near Depauw.
