Harve Cline and family returned from a nine month stay in Kansas. He describes a recent forty eight hour wind storm with gusts of eighty miles per hour. Objects like newspapers coats nuts and tin cans blew across the prairies from Iowa and nearby states. He jokes the fastest mail delivery is by wind tossing items between counties. He notes hats against house walls stay put all day during these blows. Old Harrison remains a favorite.
