Contested Third Indiana Nomination Talks Break Up

In New Albany a behind closed doors conference tried to settle whether W T Zenor or W E Cox earned the Democratic nomination for Congress in Indiana's Third District. Cox declined arbitration and favored Supreme Court resolution. Zenor favored arbitration or a judge's ruling.

Zenor and Cox Try to Settle Democratic Nomination Fight

A New Albany meeting on the 25th alt aimed to end the Zenor Cox battle for the Democratic Congressional nomination in this district. Zenor proposed arbitration by a Circuit Judge or the National Democratic Campaign Committee but Cox refused any settlement, leaving both names on the ballot per conflicting Floyd county conventions and district procedures.
