Harrison City Agricultural Society Buys Six Acres

The Corydon High School senior class will present their annual class play Nothing but the truth on May 6. A bright clean comedy of character interactions, the farce follows a man who bets he can tell the truth for a period, with misadventures and disruptive troubles mounting as truth unsettles domestic life and friendships.

Man Killed Falling From Railway Bridge Near Corydon Junction
S B Chappell of Glendive Montana died after falling fortyfive feet from a Southern Railroad bridge over Big Indian creek between Crandall and Mott. He was in the area selling Montana horses and had been staying at Corydon Junction. Coroner ruled accidental death after initial foul play suspicions, with about 1700 in cash and 1200 in papers found. He leaves a wife and five children.

Fire destroys Irv Dwell Unit in Taylor Township
A house belonging to Mr and Mrs Brown in Taylor township near Rosewood was destroyed by fire between eleven and twelve last night. The family escaped with their lives but the home and contents valued around 2000 dollars were lost, with only small insurance from Harrison County Mutual. The cause is unknown. Meanwhile W H Bullett Sons announces a new garage opening May 7 offering registration and refreshments.
