Indiana 1916 Acts distribution to Harrison County

Amos Lemmon, clerk of Harrison Circuit Court, received 128 copies of the 1916 Acts for distribution to entitled residents. The volume runs about 813 pages and this fall short of the county’s usual allotment. After clerks return receipts, the Governor will proclaim the laws in force. emergency clause bills have been in effect.

Mrs John Lambertus remains on the sick list while Andrew Garing shows improvement. Earl Park visitors include George Chaffin and Mrs Sowers visited Mrs Lambertus. Frank Hardebeck and family visited Mr Mosier and family. Ottie Mosier's family saw John Ambolis and family. The correspondent extends sympathy to the Gresham family in their bereavement.

James Crawley Dies in Louisville at 74

James Crawley aged seventy four died at his Louisville home after residing in Wetategtyxtnbin for a time. He leaves a widow Miss Lottie Peterson and ten children seven sons and three daughters. The widow is aunt of Mrs. John Y. Hudson of this place. Crawley, a native of Louisville, once bought a Webster Township farm where he married and lived briefly before returning to the city years ago.

Birthday Dinner Surprise for Posey Towne Woman

Mrs. Wm. Kreutzer of Posey towne ship celebrated her fifty fifth birthday with a surprise dinner on April 11. Attending with families were Clay Kitterman Walter McRae Dennis Tabler Mary LaDuke Adolph Henriot Ambrose LaDuke Benj Heinz James Duncan Mrs. Susan Hunter and Joseph Duncan. All enjoyed the gathering.

Christian Endeavor Convention in Corydon 1915

The Christian Endeavor Convention of the Indiana Conference Branch of the United Prethigen church will be held in Corydon June 9 and 10, 1915. A large delegation is expected with Rev. D. P. Mc Coy of Odon as President, Jeasie Hanger of Indianapolis as Junior Supt, Sallie Austin of Marengo as Corresponding Secretary, and H. W. Key of Marengo as Treasurer.

Efficiency Campaign by United Brethren in Corydon

The Indiana Conference Efficiency Campaign of Group Four will be held at the U B church in Corydon on Thursday and Friday April 22 and 23. The group includes Corydon New Middletown Central and Mauckport with Rev. W E Snyder and Prof. I J Good leading the event alongside county workers.
