Drowning Probe After York High School Pool Incident

A 14 year old York girl Katharine Bartlett died after an indoor pool incident at York Suburban High School. Coroner Dr Thoms Hart said she was not in a swimming class and was among a group practicing in shallow water when she exhibited distress. Dittmer debated when and where to perform the delicate separation. The operation was deemed necessary though success chances depend on how they are joined. The surgery may occur at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis or at Children’s Memorial in Chicago. The twins Mary Helen and Marie Ellen weighed 10 pounds 11 ounces at birth.
