Police Magistrate George H. Gordon fines Margaret Bowles and Artie Bowles twenty five dollars for disorderly conduct after a hearing yesterday. In Greenville County, Joseph Evans, 18, of Whealand, died yesterday when his riding failed to turn and struck a tree. Another Mer cer county accident killed William King of Greenville R C 2 when his motorcycle collided with a trek.
Harrisburg reports a state plan to build airports in all towns with populations of 6,000 or more as part of postwar aviation goals. Postwar airline expansions will need larger service, with private airports added to a statewide inventory. Floyd Chalfant, secretary of commerce, said the inventory aims to spur coordinated planning and funding by state and local governments.
