A group of Corry women traveling to work near Findley Lake were injured when their car collided with a highway truck near The Meadows. Mrs Hay Laurie suffered a fractured arm. others were bruised or burned. All were treated at Corry Hospital and released home. The truck driver fled the scene but was later halted by witnesses. The crash damaged a utility pole and transformer previously damaged in last week’s storm.
Johnston 48, president of the U S Chamber of Commerce, elected to succeed Will Hays as president of the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America Inc. Hays resigned after 22 years.
