Erie Slayer Convicted On Manslaughter
Anthony, 21, of Erie, was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter in the knife slaying of Robert L. Hayes on April 9. The seven men and five women jury deliberated about 21 hours before the verdict at 3:25 p.m. Judge William Pratt told jurors the options included acquittal or murder degrees. Sentencing date not yet set.
