Award Contract for New Mail Line to Southwest Air Express
Washington Sept 17 The post office department awarded the transcontinental air mail contract from Atlanta to Los Angeles to Southwest Air Express of St Louis a subsidiary of Aircraft Company of New York The department still considers bids for the New York to Los Angeles route and expects a decision soon Southwest Air Express will receive the maximum rates as it was the sole bidder for the Atlanta Los Angeles route.
