Two trees stand with a peg reaching both summits
In this problem a 112.5 ft line attached to a peg between two trees of heights 90 ft and 108 ft just reaches their tops. The solution uses Herons-like steps: take half the perimeter of the triangle formed by the two trees and the line, compute the three remainders, multiply, take a square root, and divide by 160 to find how far the trees are apart.
