Cleveland Sept 14 Charged with using denals to defraud Ged W Stone investment broker pleaded guilty in federal court today. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment in the Federal penitentiary at Mant a Swot, president of the defence Stone Investment Company, faced three indictments for sending the mails about 300 000 in fake bonds and interim certificates of companies that did not exist. Twenty four banks were used as heart losers in dealings with Stone. Stone is a former Corry resident and much of the George W Stone Company stock was sold in Corry and vicinity with losses suffered by investors. News of the sentence shocked his many friends and acquaintances who hoped he would escape.
