A Fulton man prompted Corry Memorial Hospital staff to call police as he sought drugs for stomach pain. He was taken to the police station and kept overnight amid suspicions he was intoxicated, then escorted from the city and told to avoid Corry.
Several hundred members of Lt. Arche W. Thompson Post VFW enjoyed a stag dinner last evening. The event replaces the club's annual summer prom with a traditional picnic dinner featuring roast beef fish corn on the cob baked beans and salads.
