Two Men Burned as Gas Station Blazes Explode
A gas station blaze in Warren caused two men to suffer severe burns after explosions from two large gasoline tanks. Firefighters fought for hours, detouring traffic and keeping onlookers at a safe distance. One victim, Felton, is not expected to recover. The cause remains under investigation with theories ranging from blunt vehicle ignition to a discharge during truck unloading. Dr. N. Troy Gillette treated the injured at the hospital.

False alarm at Center and Washington streets ends quietly
