Eastern Star Card Party Planned for September 13
Corry City Chapter Order of the Eastern Star announces a card party set for Monday September 13 at 8 p.m. at the Moose Lodge. Mrs Mary Ann Warner serves as worthy matron and chairwoman with reservations by Angie Crapser or Margaret Burrows. Committee chairs include Evelyn Skinner Mable Knapp Pat Craker Becky Sibson Jimne Glavis plus kitchen and serving staff. Public invited reservations by phone to Crapser 663 0342 or Burrows 664 2300.

Kathleen Baker Weds Michael Malone in Corry Ceremony
Kathleen Lynn Baker and Michael Myron Malone were united in a two o’clock ceremony on August 14 at St Thomas The Apostle Church. Rev John Lucas officiated the double ring rites as carnations and pink asters decorated the altar. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs James D Baker, wore ivory satin with lace, carried a crescent bouquet, and used her great-grandmother’s ring and other family tokens as her nuptial trousseau. The reception for 360 guests followed at St Elizabeth Parish Center. The couple will reside on Reed Road in Corry after a Cape Cod honeymoon. The bride is a 1974 graduate of Corry Area High School and employed as a drive-in teller. the groom, a 1964 CAHS graduate, manages the meat department at Loblaws in Warren.
