Jones, Triangle manager, arrives to supervise the remodel as the former Endicott Johnson store space is split into a larger south unit and a smaller north unit with modern fronts and display windows. Franklin Pa. Hubert Kaylor a 69 year old former school directive died when he hanged himself after a gunshot wound. Authorities say Kaylor had not fully recovered from the wound and a woman neighbor was confined to a state hospital following the incident and related quarrel.
Kenneth L. Mosier and Milton Cummings were injured when Mosier touched a live wire while holding a guy wire for a drilling mast on an oil lease miles from Bradford. The accident occurred as a Berg Mosier employee, the contractor, was near the mast during drilling operations.
Trapped in dense fog a Northwest Airlines aircraft crashed near its Moorhead destination early today. Fourteen people were aboard. Captain Clarence Bates survived with shock and minor injuries.
