Dogs Haunting City Stray Dogs Prompt Police Action

Corry YMCA Sponsors Halloween Window Painting Contest

The Corry YMCA with the Retail Division and Corry Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Halloween window painting contest in Corry and Columbus. Youths registered at the YMCA receive free paints from the Chamber of Commerce to decorate shop windows, judged that night by the Corry Arts Club, with $30 in prizes from the Chamber and YMCA.

Klansmen Taught Bombs and Booby Traps in Georgia

Washington AP report details a House investigation into a Georgia Ku Klux Klan training session near Matos, held October 1961. Calvin F. Craig and Imperial Robert M. Corry Beaver Wins High State Honor at Penn State con tests

The Beaver, Corry Area High School's newspaper, won First Award at the Pennsylvania School Newspaper Association conference in Reading, with staffers Roger Seel, Peg Bortner, Jay Summerville, Kerry Kennedy, Lois Schreckengost, and Judith MacGregor earning multiple honors.
