Final Rites Held For Bandit Floyd In Oklahoma

About 40 000 people attended the funeral for Charles Pretty Boy Floyd in Oklahoma. Family and mourners filled the cemetery as the outlaw, killed by federal agents in Ohio, was buried beside his father and brother. Teubenville Ohio October 29 David D Ascanio a steel mill worker was found guilty of the phantom murder of a Wheeling steel mill employee in a case filled with mystery. Former Corry Man Injured In Auto Crash

Fred Bennett formerly of Corry now of Brocton was injured in an automobile crash near Clymer Saturday evening. He suffers a severe scalp laceration and minor injuries. condition improved today with expected early discharge. Several weekend accidents were reported as rain turned to wet snow affecting visibility.

Father of Nine Fatally Hurt by Car in Bradford

In Bradford Pa on October 28 the coroner planned an inquest into the death of Jane Shoup of Steam Valley New York. The victim was a father of nine children, one four weeks old. He died in Park Allegany Hospital from injuries after being struck by an automobile allegedly driven by Joseph Fields Jr of Smethport. No arrest has been made.

Boy 18 Accidentally Hanged While Playing

In Wilmington Delaware on October 28 a teen, Relph Marshal, was found hanging in a chicken house by his father after attempting to show a playmate how criminals were treated. His six year old friend Mordecai Hudson Jr. testified the boy stood on a box and looped a noose about his neck when the mishap occurred.
