The College Women's Club met at the YMCA with a strong turnout and guests Mrs. Dr. Yen Lia Claudia Montani and Charlotte Holt. Deborah Jean Shaver and Craig Allen Vandervort exchanged vows in a 2 PM ceremony at Elgin United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Edward Rossbacher. The bride, daughter of James and Shaver, wore an empire waist organza gown with Venice lace, veil, and daisies bouquet. groom is son of Paul Vandervort of Center Valley. Reception followed at Corry Red and Gun Club and dinner at the bride’s home. The couple will reside in Cambridge Springs after honeymooning at Niagara Falls and Canada.
Members and guests of the Corry Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club enjoyed a four table Howell session Tuesday at the YMCA.
