Police Dana Scouten and Richard Windah investigated. the other driver Mrs. Michael Bartley 24 offered no statement.
Between Erie and Waterford early today troopers stopped Lawrence Willman a Erie contract mail hauler for speeding 70 mph. He faced a ticket though he reached his 4 am stop on time while the substitute driver for the late truck arrived about 7 15 am. Conditions were described as having not affected the schedule despite weather.
