Winners In Festival Ticket Sale Contest At Conelway School
A Conelway Elementary School ticket sale contest crowned fourth graders Lisa Sitterley Michele Theuret and Michael Hall as top sellers in the Fall Festival drive with fifth grade winners Anna Lindstrom Scott Bigelow and Larry Titch noted as absent from a photo. Sixth graders Keith Morris Michael Clapp and William Brooks also placed. The festival Saturday October 22 from 10 am to 5 pm in the school all purpose room promises crafts plants toys cake walks games baked goods and more.

Cheryl Ann Haskins and James Irvin Downs wed at Emmanuel Episcopal Church Erie in a 1 pm ceremony officiated by Rev. Arthur Barnhart. The bride wore satin peau with Chantilly lace details and a cathedral veil, accompanied by maid of honor Susan Haskins and bridesmaid Judy Downs. Attendants in apricot gowns, a flower girl, and ushers in tan tuxedos attended the couple before a reception for about 350 at the Elks Lodge Corry. The couple honeymooned in Atlantic City and reside at 962 Mead Avenue Corry.
