Miss Elsie Marie VanKeuren and Leonard Harry Wilcox united in marriage October 7 at the church with Rev. Eugene Donelson officiating. The bride, daughter of Mrs. R H VanKeuren, wore a floor length flecked dacron gown. Attendants included Matron of Honor Mrs Richard LaCarmen and Bridesmaid Miss Kathleen Mosley. A reception for 100 followed, and the couple plans to reside at 96 Snyder Circle after a New York State wedding trip.

International Gift Festival Draws Hundreds at Beaverdam Church
Hundreds visited the Beaverdam Mennonite Church for the International Gift Festival held over two days. Chairmen Mrs. Vernon Troyer and Mrs. Donald Nofziger called it a huge success as locals browsed handcrafted items from India, Bolivia, Africa, Jordan, Mexico, Korea and Appalachia, with proceeds aiding gift projects for the next year.
