To Fix It Sunday Faulty Water Valve Causing Headaches
Corry Water Supply Co and Stanford Hose Company workers plan a Sunday repair on a 12 inch valve in the city’s water line opened by workmen after a relocation project. Brown warns of possible service loss and high pressure while crews and hydrants are managed to maintain supply and safety. Door to door notices will inform residents from Third Avenue to Lemon Street and West Pleasant Street. Firefighters from nearby cities will cover pumping needs if pressure drops during repairs.
