He was taken to Jamestown General Hospital in serious condition with two wounds near the right arm and chest. Deputies say a quarrel preceded the shooting and a 22 caliber rifle was involved. Flasher claims amnesia about the incident. The couple's son, David, 10, is noted in the report.
Fourteen year old Patricia Chandler and siblings Sheryl Hart age nine Lonnie four and Kay Fuller eleven perished in a collision with a car driven by Howard Jordan of Madera. Four Chandler children survived injuries and others were lightly hurt. District Attorney Lester Gett row said Chandler had right of way. Jordan jailed for manslaughter.

Singer Maro Liagta known as Lanza is entombed at Celvary Mausoleum on Wednesday after a jet airliner brought his coffin from Rome where he died of a heart attack at age 38. His body lay in state in Philadelphia for two days.
Police say a break in the Titusville sitter assault case is near as investigators question several suspects. An 18 year old babysitter, attacked at night in an East End home, could identify the assailant by voice. she described being dragged to the floor and raped after a drink left her drowsy. The victim, treated at Titusville Hospital, reported a medallion stolen from around her neck found nearby.

Erie County official Schmegeer had discharge forms sent for processing and Baressi will run sessions tonight and tomorrow from 7 to 10 pm. HOLLYWOOD AP Actor Charles Coburn, aged 82, surprised Hollywood by marrying Winifred Dean Clements Nataker in Las Vegas after seven years of knowing her. She had two children from a previous marriage. details of the ceremony and Coburn's quiet planning were noted as the couple returned to Hollywood.
Frans England, former Corry mayor and councilman, died Sunday morning in St. Petersburg, Florida at age 63. Born July 12, 1898 in New Chelmsford Massachusetts, he lived in Warren and Youngstown before moving to Corry Iron Gate, Ohio, serving as freight agent and city official. He was noted as secretary of the local Chamber of Commerce and member of several clubs and associations. Survived by wife Trene, daughter Mrs Bert Downs of Warren, two sons John T. and Frank T. Jr., and a sister and brother. Services Wednesday at Roberts Memorial Funeral Home in Warren with interment in Crownhill Cemetery.
A stolen car plowed into a Callumbus South Side school bus stop wounding four children. Three, Randy Kline 7 Ray mond 7 and Jane Bellah 7, were killed. Jerry Bellah 5 survived with a broken leg as the driver, 22, was taken to central police station amid crowd anger. The car allegedly sped south on S High St, skidded onto a sidewalk, collided with a parked car, then struck another car near a trailer court. The Bellah father serves at Lockbourne Air Force Base.
Gen George C. Marshall lies in state at Washington National Cathedral with full honors planned for tomorrow. The funeral will be at Arlington National Cemetery. Marshall, the former Army chief and key statesman, died Friday.
