Bradford Oct. 12 R P Habgood postmaster of Bradford for nearly his full term yesterday sent his resignation to Washington He asked to be relieved at December 31 as his commission would expire next March The resignation followed a Republican County Committee meeting at the Saint James Hotel naming Habgood as the candidate for Member of Assembly to fill the vacancy caused by James withdrawal.
