Livermore and Chapman Eke Will Return Tuesday
Jamestown Post reports a committee meeting completed arrangements for the homecoming of Olympic hero John Eke. He arrives Tuesday at 7:20 pm from Buffalo. a parade of about 400 men will form, march through main streets, then gather at City Hall for exercises and a silver loving cup presentation. Local bands and notable speakers will take part, with Mayor Carlson presiding.
