Priests Bless Animals as Hunters Go Yearly Hunt
In Upper Darby Pennsylvania Episcopal Pastor Frederick Powers led a St Francis Day blessing for hunters amid a 1.25 million hunter season. He prayed for luck and for the safety of animals and hunters while insisting the ceremony is local and not churchwide. In Kansas City Missouri the State Patrol began installing over 700 citizen band radios in patrol cars at a cost above 100000 dollars to enable patrol communications and emergency contact with civilians.
