Canvass by Woman Triggers Inquiry in City Ward Two

A canvass of homes led by a woman in the Second ward sparked questions about the purpose of the activity. The caller, claiming to be Mrs. Hall from Florida and linked to The Children's Institute of New York, asked about children ages four to sixteen and parental employment. She said she acted under Mr Falk of the Lawrence Hotel Erie, who denied involvement with the institute.
