Fred Allen Takes On Give Away Radio Programs
Fred Allen launches a one man campaign against prize giveaway radio shows calling them cheap lotteries. He vows to bond listeners up to 5000 dollars to cover losses from other programs while citing recent 30000 dollar winnings on ABCs Stop the Music by Kenneth Crosbie. Allen says there are too many giveaways that steal listeners from genuine talent and will have the National Surety Corp back his promise to reimburse listeners.
