Rozalia Malek died this morning at 6 15 at her R D 2 Erie County home after years of illness. The Polandborn widow of farmer George Malek had lived locally since 1922 and is survived by six children two daughters at home two daughters in law several sons in various towns a sister and an aunt plus sixteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at St. S with burial at the parish church.

Five year old boy, Thestors Twitty, stepson of David Twitty, fell from a moving car five miles west of North East on Route 6 during a skid. He is in critical condition at Hamot Hospital with head injuries. State Police say he tumbled through a rear door as the auto skidded on the slick pavement.
