Hy United Press reports Bucharest October 4 that General Mackensen with about 240000 Austro German troops has reached the Serb border awaiting the Tocn drive on Constantinople. More than two thousand guns of large calibre are massed for the expedition. Headquarters are said at Veravos with Mackensen in charge of the sector near Pina. Sworn rumors claim Mackensen and several army corps withdrawn from the Minak region for a new Balkan campaign.

All Rescued Men Expected to Recover

United Press reports nine men rescued from Lehigh Coal and Navigation tunnel are improving and likely to recover after ten days trapped. Twelve others are in good condition and able to tell the tale. Two Autos Smash in Collision On North Georgetown Street

An accident Saturday damaged two autos near Georgetown Street when a Buick driven toward this city from Philtey collided near the Alexander Tate on the Hace Gredke Fond. Mrs Lynch of North Qentter Street owned the large Hilck and suffered major damages. the other vehicle, owned by Mn Weekerd, could not be moved. The occupants found alternative transportation home while one car was towed to Ullette.

Death at Corry Cancer Sanatorium in city

The death occurred at the Corry Cancer Sanatorium early yesterday morning. Mr. River, 60, a resident of Guimberland, had been ill for two years and had been at the sanatorium in this city about four months. He was attended by Honey Rikon and his remains were shipped to his family’s home.
